I make most of my photography available under Creative Commons license for free, (nearly) unrestricted public use. This has led to many interesting uses of my photos, and to some productive commercial or public-service partnerships. Over the years I’ve been lucky to work with the American Alpine Club, Backpacker Magazine, National Geographic, the Sierra Club, and the National Parks Service.
Below is a sample of my outdoor photography. Rather than reinvent the wheel on Winterbear, I’ve decided to keep using my Flickr page as the primary way to store and share photos. I also have photos on Panoramio (the photo service integrated with Google Earth), and on 500px. If you have any questions about my photos, feel free to get in touch!
